The metal tested a high of Rs 380.90 per kg and a low of Rs 372.40 per kg on Monday. When last seen Copper was exchanging hands at Rs 378 per kg. The likelihood of rising U.S. interest rates, better than expected China consumption this year and smaller growth in mine supply for 2017 all played a part in improving the consensus views for copper’s outlook The Commitment of Traders (CoT) report was released last week. This report is expected to give direction to Copper prices in near future. The activity of Merchants was in favor of increasing long and short positions for the week ending 15 Nov 2016. | MTECHTIPS:-Oil touches three-week highs ahead of OPEC meeting Posted: 21 Nov 2016 06:05 AM PST MTECHTIPS:-Oil touches three-week highs ahead of OPEC meeting MTECHTIPS- Oil prices rose on Monday to their highest in three weeks, catching a lift from a weaker U.S. dollar and from cautious money managers, as OPEC appeared to be moving closer to agreeing an output cut when it meets next week. Brent crude futures (LCOc1) were up 96 cents at $47.82 a barrel by 1157 GMT, having touched their highest level since Nov. 1, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures (CLc1) were up 87 cents at $46.56 a barrel.
